Band Bio
Rusty Chicken is a Southern California band delivering melodic, guitar-driven rock that blends original music with crowd-favorite covers spanning alternative rock, classic rock, and Americana influences.
Formed in 2019, Jeff, Mike, Brendan, and Steve began performing together just before the world shut down in 2020. Rather than putting the band on hold, they used the time away from the stage to hone their sound, write original music, and develop the chemistry that defines Rusty Chicken today.
Since returning to the stage, Rusty Chicken has become a familiar presence at local venues and festivals, building sets that move comfortably between their own songs and music from artists who have shaped their sound. The result is a live show built around strong melodies, guitar-driven arrangements, and songs meant to connect with an audience.
Now in 2026, Rusty Chicken continues to perform throughout Southern California while developing and recording its growing catalog of original music.

The Setlist
ORIGINALS. ALTERNATIVE. CLASSIC ROCK.
Rusty Chicken serves up Cage Free Rock n Roll with no musical fences — mixing melodic, guitar-driven originals with alternative favorites, classic rock staples, and a little Americana. It’s the kind of music that gets heads nodding, feet moving, drinks raised, and the room singing along — with original Rusty Chicken songs that feel right at home alongside the music you already know and love.
